The Massachusetts Commission for the Blind Ferguson Industries Program offers transcription services with a specialty in medical transcription. All transcription is proofread by sighted supervisors. Submitted material must be dictated on standard cassettes, mini cassettes or micro cassettes. They will be produced in Microsoft Word 97© or ASCII format on a 3.5 inch IBM formatted disk and hard copy will also be provided. From business documents to restaurant menus, you need only provide the original material in either WordPerfect or ASCII format. We can also edit your material for a modest additional fee.
